Event Details

  • Blizzard has finally confirmed a release window for World of Warcraft's next expansion, Battle for Azeroth, that is expected to drop september.

That's still a little vague, what together with the last Friday of the year falling on September 21, however the good news is pre-orders are actually live.

Players who pre-order receive a sudden level 110 character boost, and may "begin your way to unlock the expansion’s new playable Allied Races," Blizzard confirmed within an update.

The four new races will be the Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, Void Elves, and Nightborne. If you level a character derived from one of of these races from 20 to 110, you will end up rewarded together with the Heritage Armour set, lthough it's worth noting that to create the armour, it's not possible to use a character boost or gain levels over the Recruit-A-Friend program. You can't switch factions or races either.

The Standard Edition costs £39.99/ $50 and includes the 110 character boost. If you want to hold on for something a little more extravagant, Blizzard will likely be announcing a Collector's Edition later in 2010, to feature "art, music, and lore to celebrate the production of Battle for Azeroth."

The World of Warcraft expansion was announced not too long ago and will probably be ditching traditional raid class sets, and you will check out what else is coming in our rundown on the new specifics of Battle for https://www.mmoah.com/warmane
